Sorry I've been away from blogging over the Easter holidays. Busy with family activities. I, um, had thought I'd put up an apology for absence in advance of my absence, but it turns out that it had been sitting in Blogger marked "draft" for the last two weeks.
I do things like this all the time.

It has been scientifically proven that human beings are constitutionally unable to estimate correctly how long it takes to pack a suitcase.
I'm like that with work, hence my absence from blogging for a week.
The good news is that I am not too late to participate in a blogburst for Our School by Joanne Jacobs. (Link takes you to Amazon UK.) The blogburst is a birthday present for Joanne; fair exchange, as she wrote Our School as a Christmas present for me.
She just didn't know it at the time.
The saddest chapter is "The knife." But it isn't a sad book. On the contrary.
Oh, poot. I misread the date and I am too late.
